ChainLine Cycle is announcing the launch of their own local bike line: ‘Caruso Bikes’. Kelowna's only locally owned road bike line.
For the 2010 year the model 'veltri' will be available in five different sizes and custom grouppos, wheels, gearing, or frame only. It is a full monocoque 3K carbon frame-set, integrated headset with a 1.5 lower head tube, and the unique RD (Race/Distance tm) geometry.
The Veltri model will come with full Campagnolo Centaur (carbon) group and Campagnolo Zonda wheel set (custom gearing).
Selected Continental Tires, 3T Bar and stem (custom lengths and widths), your choice of selected saddles.
Complete bike will weigh under 17LBS.
The first order of frames has been placed and are expected to arrive in Kelowna early 2010. Six have been presold, and three will be raced and ridden locally by ChainLine Cycle club members.
These frames are produced by a high-end off-shore bicycle manufacturer who also make other name branded bike lines. We specifically selected the specifications of the frame to meet our desired design.
The Caruso Veltri’s price point will be awesome... you won' believe how affordable it is. When middle men are removed from the buying process, the customer wins.
